Frequently asked questions
Depending on your profile and the position you apply to, yes. However, getting a work permit for Austria can be complicated and depends on your profession and experience level. Our team analyzes each application individually, so we will let you know whether a work permit is viable on a case-by-case basis. Don’t be afraid to apply!
For most positions, yes. You can choose a “flex” contract that will enable you to work remotely but also to come to the office when you want to. Should you prefer a completely remote setup (even in a different country), we can definitely make it work. Let us know your preferences in your application so we can set up the relevant contracts and arrangements with your team.

Most likely, no. Most business is conducted from our offices, so there is little need to travel. In some roles, there may be occasional business trips, but we can clarify this during your application.
Full-time positions at Meister in Austria require a working week of 38.5 hours. If you are interested in working part-time (and this is not indicated in the job description), let us know during your application. With our flexible work time agreement, you can allocate your daily working hours between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. Any overtime you accumulate can be reduced at a later date (hour-by-hour or as full days).
